Judges Comments:  Organic print. Master gardener. A person after my own heart that celebrates nature in the process and the form.

Judges Comments:  Hand forged, acid etched, and silver soldered nickel silver boxes. These treasures hold treasures of their own.

Painting (Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor

Aga Elliot, Oil #35

Judges Comments: These beautiful oil paintings capture the great animals of Colorado and inspire conservation efforts that are so important.

Clay/Wood/Glass

Paul Henry Devoti, Clay, #99

Judges Comments:  These wonderful ceramics celebrate indigenous cultures while bringing in amazing colors and local imagery. The mash up between the two are very interesting and contemporary.

Fiber/Functional/Leather

Judges Comments:  The Zapotec Weaver. Beautifully done, rich colors, and classic technique.

Jewelry

Kristin DeSantis and Marc Kriewaldt, Jewelry, #74

Judges Comments:  Graphic quality, bold, and colorful work. I loved the simplicity. I hear they are on their way to submit a piece to the Smithsonian.

Judges Comments:  A fascinating process. The images really struck me in their abstract quality. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. Really a celebration of light.
